Extension

1.I infer that there is a dinosaur at their minds and they are targeting him.
Out of the mist, one hundred yards away, came Tyrannosaurus Rex
2.
A
It came on great oiled, resilient, striding legs. It towered thirty feet above half of the trees, a great evil god, folding its delicate watchmaker's claws close to its oily reptilian chest. Each lower leg was a piston, a thousand pounds of white bone, sunk in thick ropes of muscle, sheathed over in a gleam of pebbled skin like the mail of a terrible warrior. Each thigh was a ton of meat, ivory, and steel mesh. And from the great breathing cage of the upper body those two delicate arms dangled out front, arms with hands which might pick up and examine men like toys, while the snake neck coiled. And the head itself, a ton of sculptured stone, lifted easily upon the sky. Its mouth gaped, exposing a fence of teeth like daggers. Its eyes rolled, ostrich eggs, empty of all expression save hunger. It closed its mouth in a death grin. It ran, its pelvic bones crushing aside trees and bushes, its taloned feet clawing damp earth, leaving prints six inches deep wherever it settled its weight.

Sunk in thick ropes of muscle
Exposing a fence of teeth like daggers
Each thigh was a ton of meat, ivory and steel mesh.

3.
If you dopisobey instructions there is a stiff penalty of another ten thousand dollars plus a possible government action on your return .
This foreshadow that some thing bad will happen and it does when Travis and eckels nearly killed them and they would have had to pay ten thousand dollars to the government plus a government action.

"Does this safari guarantee I come back alive?"We guarantee nothing," said the official, "except the dinosaurs."
This foreshadows that the might not come back alive.

Makes you think, If the election had gone badly yesterday, I might be here now running away from the result.
This foreshadows that when they get to deutcher in the end they would have been elected.

Stay on the path don't get out of it, I repeat don't go off it
It foreshadows that eckels will go out of the track

Can these guns get a dinosaur cold?" Eckels felt his mouth saying. This foreshadows that when they shoot the dinosaurs will not die when they are getting shot.

We might need it. I'm warning you, Eckels, I might kill you yet. I've got my gun ready."
It foreshadows that eckels is going to be killed

     2.Inference
    A. I infer mr.pearson and Hazel (squeaky) hate each other because "Well, Squeaky,” he says, checking my name off the list and handing me number seven and two pins. And I’m thinking he’s got no right to call me Squeaky, if I can’t call him Beanstalk.

“Hazel Elizabeth Deborah Parker,” I correct him and tell him to write it down on his board.

“Well, Hazel Elizabeth Deborah Parker, going to give someone else a break this year?” I squint at him real hard to see if he is seriously thinking I should lose the race on purpose just to give someone else a break. “Only six girls running this time,” he continues, shaking his head sadly like it’s my fault all of New York didn’t turn out in sneakers. “That new girl should give you a run for your money.” He looks around the park for Gretchen like a periscope in a submarine movie. “Wouldn’t it be a nice gesture if you were . . . to ahhh"

    B. I infer that Hazel after retiring from her running career would want to coach Raymond. Because she was thinking of it in the story. So I stand there with my new plans, laughing out loud by this time as Raymond jumps down from the fence and runs over with his teeth showing and his arms down to the side, which no one before him has quite mastered as a running style. And by the time he comes over I’m jumping up and down so glad to see him—my brother Raymond, a great runner in the family tradition. But of course everyone thinks I’m jumping up and down because the men on the loudspeaker have finally gotten themselves together and compared notes and are announcing “In first place—Miss Hazel Elizabeth Deborah Parker.” (Dig that.) “In second place—Miss Gretchen P. Lewis.” And I look over at Gretchen wondering what the “P” stands for. And I smile. Cause she’s good, no doubt about it. Maybe she’d like to help me coach Raymond; she obviously is serious about running, as any fool can see. And she nods to congratulate me and then she smiles. And I smile. We stand there with this big smile of respect between us.

She is thinking about her post retirement whether she coaches Raymond for running.

    4.

A.plays like he is driving a stage coach.

B.thinks he is a circus performer

C.thinks the curb is a tightrope stuck high

This all show that Raymond is doing some fantasy stuff, he is imagining and doing that action almost like he is dreaming.

    Finished!!!!!!!
